In Honor Of Max...I'm sad to say..

I'm sad to say my little Max, did not survive eating many pretty flowers and some other things growing wild I was unaware of. He passed on Sunday 9/24.

He was an older goat, and the vet said, it probably was hard for him to bounce back, even though he did many times~I will really miss him, and all his sillyness, but smile, because I have the greatest memories, that will keep me laughing for years to come, which I will share here.

He had a great little goat life, we adopted him from a farm across the road from where we live, because Max's sister passed from eating something bad too, that was about 9 years ago, and since goats need to be with other people, they are so lovey dovey..and can die of a broken heart, (who ever knew that?), and since we had 3 others on our property, we decided to adopt Max!..We actually surprised our son on his 8th birthday, and as a little joke, we said this is your birthday present!

Now the fun begins...I have so many funny goat stories, that I've shared with people over the years, I'll start to share them here too!
I also have three other goats, not as goofy and silly, but worth sharing too, chickens, and dogs, Visit back often for some giggles...

A PINK horsing around day!

This day the weather was so beautiful. I was all decked out in my "pink". A perfect 75 out, great for end of August. Our friend invited me & DH to pick berries that morning for DH food business,we picked a lot... he's making a syrup from these...anyway..I took a little break, relaxed, watched her chickens, cats, then we walked over by her horses. Whoa! They are big...and I'm a little scared of them, but got a great photo anyway..LOL

Darling Walter the horse walked over with his buddy shadow.. I gave him an apple & said

"hello gorgeous!" check out the laugh...I'm in love!!

Let's play with CLAY!

Well, I've been teaching ceramics for quite a while now...before that, tole painting..but it's really clay I enjoy the most! If a project isn't too perfect..squish it..& start over...kids love that too! This blog is just for fun..I will fill it with..kid classes..my goats, chickens and dogs..& occasional adventures in my PINK world in the Northwest. My love for shabby, cottage, & pinks will dribble over to this site sometimes from Angel Heart Designs more of my business blog....be sure to visit there too!

These photos are some of the recent projects we did..classes range in age from 5 yrs. on up!

The first photo is of the clocks we made a while ago, there are several, I've just posted a few, one little boy made one with musical notes..on the right, another made one with a sea theme on bottom..& the top left is what makes her happy. They had so much fun making a clock..I do one in every class... The other photos are birdfeeders, and little houses, and coming in September, the girls are making Tea sets, very cute!
